Voters rejected plans for a new traffic design at the town’s central retail center, Lower Village, at Monday’s annual Town Meeting. The town’s Capital Planning Committee had not recommended approval of the $150,000 measure, which was proposed by the Planning Board. A series of plans for a more user-friendly traffic design for the congested corridor have been offered in recent years.
