From bucket trucks to a backhoe and a street sweeper, there will be plenty of equipment for kids to see, sit in, and climb on during the town’s annual Truck Day, taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Samuel Hadley Public Services Building at 201 Bedford St. Children can also try a metal detector and learn about the growth cycle of trees during the event, which is being held in conjunction with National Public Works Week.
