Those looking to buy a three-bedroom town home can try an affordable-housing lottery being organized for the town by MCO Housing Services. The organization will hold a public information meeting on the lottery at 7 p.m. June 10 in Meeting Room B in the Richard D. Carney Municipal Building, 100 Maple Ave. The unit will be sold for $196,800 to an eligible first-time home buyer. The unit has 1½ baths, a two-car garage, and 1,660 square feet of living space, with views of Lake Quinsigamond from the deck. Details about eligibility criteria and the lottery application process will be available at the meeting. Applications are available online at www.mcohousingservices.com, in the Carney Municipal Building lobby, and at the Shrewsbury Public Library. The lottery application deadline is July 9.
