Police to hold youth fishing derby

The Police Department’s Drug Abuse Resistance Education and Youth Services programs are holding their annual youth fishing derby June 8, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Arcand Park. Walk-ins are welcome before 8:30 a.m. the day of the race, but advance registration is preferred, organizers said. The fee is $20, and includes a T-shirt, bait, and lunch. Checks should be made payable to Bellingham Police Department Youth Services and mailed, with completed registration forms, to the department at 8 Mechanic St., Bellingham, MA 02019. To download a registration form, visit the Police Department’s page on the town website, www.bellinghamma.org .
