Residents of Southborough, Framingham, Natick, and Wellesley are invited to the final public meeting for the Route 9 Metro West Smart Growth Plan, to be held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Morse Institute Library, 14 East Central St. in Natick. The MetroWest Regional Collaborative and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council have been working with residents to focus on new mixed-use development ideas for Route 9 that are more pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly. The meeting will review what has already been discussed at prior presentations, as well as tackle traffic issues, design plans, and phasing strategies. To register, visit www.mapc.org/events.
