Board names new head of DPW


At its recent meeting, the Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to accept Town Manager Richard Reed’s recommendation that Roy Sorenson be hired as the new director of the Department of Public Works. Sorenson, who is currently superintendent of streets in Nashua, was chosen from a pool of 27 applicants to replace Richard Warrington, who retired from the position earlier this spring.
