Seniors can work off some taxes

Town residents 60 years and older who own their home may be eligible to earn a property tax abatement by volunteering their services to the town. The senior citizen property tax work-off program is available for residents who earn less than $65,030 annually if they are single, or $74,320 if married. Seniors interested in participating should contact the town's accounting department at 978-448-1107 by July 20.
