Joshua Freilich , St. John’s High: The senior tallied 15 goals in the postseason, including four in a 15-6 loss to Longmeadow in the state semifinals.

Andrew Melvin , Medfield: The senior All-American was a consistent force around the cage, tallying nine postseason assists and 12 goals, including the game-winner in overtime against Hingham.

John Sexton , Lincoln-Sudbury Regional: The junior long stick was instrumental for the Warriors defense, which allowed just 20 goals in four tournament games.

Keaton Stoner , Dover-Sherborn: The senior’s tremendous ability to control faceoffs, and keep possession for the Raiders, made the team difficult to beat, Cohasset coach James Beaudoin said.

Mel Wagner , Algonquin Regional: The junior attack stepped up in the postseason, scoring six goals in the final two games of the Division 1 Central bracket to lead the Tomahawks to their second straight title.
