Applications for grants from the local Community Preservation Act program, which supports affordable housing, recreation, open space and historical preservation projects, are due at the town clerk’s office by Aug. 15, according to a posting on the municipal website. The Community Preservation Committee will review all proposals and prepare recommendations for next spring’s Town Meeting, which makes the final decision on how the funds are spent. Application forms and more information are available at www.town.northborough.ma.us, or contact the town planner, Kathy Joubert, at 508-393-5019 or email@example.com.
