The Ashland Public Library’s summer reading program is underway and runs through Sept. 2. Local youths entering grades 1 through 6 in the fall can win prizes by tallying their reading online at www.readsinma.org or on paper, tracking the number of books or chapters read, or listened to, or the number of hours spent reading. Participants should select books appropriate to their reading level. For more information, and for a list of prizes, visit www.ashlandsummerreadingprogram.org or e-mail coordinator Elka Troutman at firstname.lastname@example.org .
