The Washington Square Association is kicking off a new summer music series this week. The association’s “Live Summer ‘BYOC’ Music Series” will be held every other Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Washington Square through Sept. 12. Music lovers are encouraged to “bring your own chair’’ or take in the tunes while dining alfresco at a restaurant in the square. The summer series will kick off Thursday with klezmer and gypsy music by the Natasha Folk Project, with upcoming sessions featuring the Tony Wolff Trio and the Whiskey Boys.
