Share thoughts on fluoridation

Local health officials are seeking comments from residents about the addition of fluoride to the public drinking water. The town has been adding fluoride for the past 13 years, but is revisiting the practice in light of some studies questioning the safety of giving fluoride to children, and the widespread availability of alternative topical fluoride sources, officials said. Residents can share their thoughts by sending a letter to the Board of Health, Town of Wayland, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778, or via e-mail to the town’s public health director, Julia Junghanns, at jjunghanns@wayland.ma.us.
