End-of-summer reading party at library

The Friends of the Northborough Library and the Northborough Junior Woman’s Club are sponsoring a party celebrating the completion of a summer reading program at the library on Saturday. The family event is for children from prekindergarten to Grade 5 who logged their reading online over the summer. The festivities will start at 11 a.m., and will include ice cream, face painting, games, and caricatures, and will wrap up with a hula-hoop performance and workshop led by Pinto Bella Hoops from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Visit the library’s website, www.northboroughlibrary.org , for more information, and call 508-393-5025, ext. 4, to register.
