Thomas Crispi , Needham: After moving from the North Shore Navigators bullpen to the starting rotation, the 6-foot-4 lefty put together an ERA of 2.25 with 26 strikeouts in 27 innings for the Futures Collegiate Baseball League club. Last week, he turned in another strong start, allowing no runs and just two hits in seven innings of a 3-0 loss to the Nashua Silver Knights.

Christian Lavoie , Hopkinton: In a 4-1 win over the Torrington Titans of the FCBL, the 6-foot-4 righty allowed just one run and struck out five in 7.1 innings.


Evan Park , Hopkinton: With seven strikeouts and just two hits over seven innings, the 6-foot-3 righty shut down Malden to give Ashland Post 77 a win in the District 5 Chairman’s Cup, 11-2.

Chris Shaw , Lexington: The Boston College rising sophomore (above) continued his hot summer with 13 hits and 13 RBI during a recent six-game span for the New Bedford Bay Sox, which wrapped up its season in the New England Collegiate Baseball League last week.

Mike Tracy , Milford: The American Legion Post 59 team got more than enough from the righty starter in its Central/Western Mass. sectional playoff win over Wachusett, 10-0. He threw all five innings in the mercy-rule-shortened contest, allowing just two hits and striking out six. Phil Perry
