Hearing to review transfer station fees

The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing for residents to weigh in on the town’s transfer station fees at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Town Offices, 37 Shattuck St. Town finance director Bonnie Holston and highway operations manager Jim Clyde are recommending that the current fees remain in effect: $100 for an annual sticker, $50 for a second sticker, and $30 for all senior citizen stickers, plus trash fees per bag ranging from 75 cents to $2.
