The Planning Board is meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Town Hall to pick up its review of a proposed commercial and apartment project at 61-65 West Main St. (Route 20). Local developer Jim Vogel is proposing the new development, which would consist of an 8,800-square-foot commercial building and a 22,000-square-foot, two-story building featuring commercial space on the first floor and apartments above. Planning Board members have previously stated they feel the proposal should be scaled back, although the Zoning Board of Appeals has official jurisdiction over the project.
