Class offers tips on ‘cooking for one’


The town’s senior center will host a monthly workshop on cooking for only one or two people, run by representatives from Whole Foods Market, beginning Aug. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. The class is designed for individuals looking to plan easy-to-prepare and highly nutritious meals without cooking recipes intended for a large crowd; participants will be able to consume what they prepare in class. The program is free, but space is limited, and those who are interested should register by Thursday. To sign up, call the town’s senior center at 508-966-0398.
