Library adds software for early readers

An AWE Early Literacy Station has been purchased by the Sherborn Library to give children ages 2 through 8 an opportunity to learn from more than 60 different software titles in subjects including reading, math, science, social studies, arts, and music. The educational software, which is loaded onto a computer that is not connected to the Internet, is designed to give younger children a fun way to get ready for school, according to the company’s website. Library staff members are available to help children try out the system. More information is available at library.sherbornma.org.
