Music festival to aid veterans next Sunday

Veterans Inc., a local organization that provides services to military veterans across New England, is holding its annual Freedom Song Festival next Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at Independence Hall, 59 South St. Taking part in the event will be a U2 tribute band, the Joshua Tree, as well as Dan Gabel and the Abletones, the Jukebox Junkies, Hero on Hold, and Nemes. Tickets are $5, or $20 per family; veterans can attend for free with proof of service. The event benefits Veterans Inc.’s food service programs.
