Pan-Mass. ride for kids next Sunday

This year’s Pan-Mass. Challenge Medfield Kids Ride is scheduled for next Sunday at Medfield High School, where children will take part in a half-mile bike ride around the school. There will also be a tot lot for younger cyclists who want to ride a shorter distance. Ride check-in is at 10 a.m., and the ride will take place from 11 to 11:30 a.m. There will be a post-ride party from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. featuring a climbing wall, bounce house, a DJ, raffles, ice cream, and more. Participants are asked to enter the school from South Street. There is a $10 registration fee and a fund-raising minimum of $25; the suggested fund-raising goal is $50 per rider, with the proceeds to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund.
