Tax work-off program for veterans

The town is offering a property tax work-off program for military veterans who own and live in their home in Bellingham . Veterans under the age of 60 can work in various town departments for up to 125 hours annually, with a resulting tax credit of up to $1,000. The program is similar to the town’s senior tax work-off program, for homeowners age 60 and older. Veterans can enroll at the Bellingham Senior Center on Blackstone Street. For more information, visit the senior center or call 508-966-0398.
