Welcoming Milford will host a discussion of the book “Enrique’s Journey” at the Milford Town Library on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. The book by Sonia Nazzaro recounts a Honduran boy’s hardship and peril as he tried to reunite with his mother in the United States. The discussion will be led by Denise Garcia of Welcoming Milford and the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, which work toward making the state and community a welcoming place for everyone. Garcia will use Enrique’s story as a platform to discuss how immigration affects families, reasons for emigrating, and other personal journeys. Copies of the book in English and Spanish are available at the library. For more information, call the library’s information desk at 508-473-2145, ext 2.
