Building permits steady, official says


Building permits remained steady in the last year relative to prior years, despite the difficult economy, Building Inspector Michael Sauvageau stated in the recent annual town report. Sauvageau said he issued 215 permits in 2012. Twenty of them were for dwelling units; nine of them were for solar panels, and 13 of them were for home additions.
