Theater classes at the library

The Medway Players is holding a theater workshop at the Medway Public Library this fall, with the first sessions Monday and Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. The workshop on acting and character development will be led by Jim Porter, who has directed and performed in local theater productions in Massachusetts for more than 30 years. The class, which will be held several nights a week through Nov. 20, will provide instruction on physical and mental techniques to aid actors in creating believable characters. The program is aimed at ages 10 and older; there is a $5 materials fee. For more information or to sign up, visit the library or call 508-740-5825.
