Two openings on school council

The Carlisle School Advisory Council is seeking two new members; one seat will go to the parent of a child enrolled in the town’s school, and the other is for a resident without a child in the local system. The council’s purpose is to support district goals through writing and implementing the School Improvement Plan; reviewing the budget; and providing general enhancement for the school community. Members serve a two-year term, and the council, which is divided equally between school officials and community residents, meets monthly. To apply for one of the positions, submit a short biography and statement of interest by Oct. 2 to csaexecvp@gmail.com.
