HIGH FIVE

Ryan Charter , Needham: The senior quarterback completed seven of his eight passing attempts for 120 yards and two touchdowns, and added a 1-yard rushing touchdown as the Rockets beat Newton North, 41-12.

Jeff Costello , Lexington: The sophomore signal-caller did it all in a 42-27 win over Belmont last week, throwing for 226 yards and three touchdowns and running for 141 yards and three more scores.

Anthony Parchesky , Medway: With 231 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries, the senior running back helped the Mustangs beat Norton, 28-13.

Thomas Saponaro , Acton-Boxborough Regional: Churning out multiple big plays for the Colonials in their 48-24 win over rival Westford, the senior caught two long touchdown passes (44 yards and 65 yards), and added two rushing scores to lead coach Bill Maver’s offense.

Connor Strachan , St. Sebastian’s: The senior fullback/linebacker and future Boston College Eagle from Wellesley had three touchdowns and helped limit Roxbury Latin to just 50 yards of offense in the first half in a 37-7 victory for the Arrows.

North Attleborough (2-1) at King Philip Regional (3-0), 7 p.m. Friday: King Philip senior running back Joey Johnston (six touchdowns this season) and the Warriors’ bruising running game will look to stay perfect against North Attleborough, a Hockomock League Kelley-Rex Division rival that will be hungry after suffering its first loss of the season last week, falling to undefeated Mansfield, 35-14.
