The Friends of the Norfolk Public Library is sponsoring its annual pumpkin-decorating contest for ages 3 to 18, with entries being accepted through Monday at the library’s reference desk. Participants may decorate their pumpkins with paper, glue, paint, or other materials, but no carving will be allowed. Each entry must include a title. Voting for the pumpkin with the best decorations will take place at the library from Wednesday through Oct. 29. The winner will be announced on Oct. 30.
