Scare up some fun with Halloween crafts and a haunted hayride next weekend. The hayrides, held by the Recreation Department, will run every half-hour Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Robert T. Lynch Municipal Golf Course at 1281 West Roxbury Parkway. The rides, intended for families with children in kindergarten through the third grade, will travel through a gantlet of villains, goblins and ghosts inhabiting a graveyard. The event will also include face painting and a photo booth. Tickets are $10 per family, and registration is required; call 617-730-2083 or go online to www.brooklinerec.com.
