The town’s Agriculture Committee will host a panel discussion about real estate taxation and zoning regulation of privately owned farmland at 7 p.m. Thursday at 141 Keyes Road. The town assessor and zoning enforcement officer will be on hand to answer questions. The program will compare the different features and tax effects of Chapter 61A and 61B classifications and conservation restrictions. Other topics will include agricultural activities allowed in residential zones; recent changes in state laws affecting small parcels of farmland; and the different types of agricultural activity now allowed in Concord. For more information, see the Agriculture Committee’s page on the town website, www.concordma.gov.
