At its first meeting of the year, the School Committee heard recommendations from Superintendent Joan Wickman regarding a revised fiscal year 2015 capital expenditure proposal. In accordance with Wickman’s recommendations, the committee voted to include expenditures of $88,000 for air conditioning in the Grant Building; $80,000 for technology replacement; and $25,000 for annual maintenance. One projected expenditure, a replacement of the elevator in the Carlisle Public School’s Corey Building for an estimated cost of $75,000, was deferred for another year.
