Town officials are asking community members to take part in a survey to help gauge the need for a local blight bylaw. The survey asks participants to state their definition of “blight” — with options including issues concerning safety, visual appearance, and abandoned buildings — as well as whether a bylaw covering blight issues is needed, and what the goals of such a bylaw might be. The survey can be accessed online at, and paper versions are available at Town Hall, the Hudson Public Library, and the senior center. Surveys are due March 2.
