Time to renew dog licenses

The town clerk is reminding local dog owners that it is time to obtain or renew an annual license for pets at least 6 months old. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for obtaining a license; the fee is $15, or $10 for dogs that have been spayed or neutered; the registration charge is waived for residents 70 and older who provide proof of age. After March 1, a $25 late fee will be added, with another $25 levied for each additional month; the fine for having an unlicensed dog is $100. Registration forms are available in the town’s clerk’s office and online at www.natickma.gov . For more information, call 508-647-6430, ext. 4.
