The former Symmes Hospital has been replaced by the Arlington 360 complex, with views of the Boston skyline. Rents range from $1,975 for a studio to $3,500 and up for a three-bedroom.


Chestnut Hill Square

The shuttered Omni Foods on Route 9 has been replaced by Chestnut Hill Square, with a Wegmans on the way. Restaurants include Brio Tuscan Grille and Seasons 52.

Waterstone at Wellesley

The abandoned Grossman’s outlet on Washington Street is long gone, replaced by an upscale senior-living complex, Waterstone at Wellesley, as well as an outpatient surgery center and a CVS.

The sprawling former Polaroid property along Route 128 is showing signs of life, with work moving ahead on a Marshalls and a Market Basket, as well as a Jake n Joe’s Sports Grille.
