Democrats to elect convention delegates

Local Democrats will be electing delegates for the party’s annual state convention Saturday from 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Morse Institute Library. The party caucus is open to anyone, although only registered Democrats can run or vote. Those who are chosen via secret ballot as delegates and alternate delegates will have the opportunity during the June convention in Worcester to endorse candidates for statewide offices, including governor, attorney general, and state treasurer. For more information on participating in the caucus or to learn more about the Natick Democratic Town Committee, visit www.natickdemocrats.org or contact Steve Roche at 508-653-8637. The town’s Republicans held their caucus last month.
