Opening on Conservation Commission

Local officials are seeking a resident to fill a vacancy on the town’s Conservation Commission. The commission is charged with the protection of the town’s natural resources and advises other town boards and staff on conservation issues. It is also responsible for managing some 2,000 acres of town-owned conservation land. Residents interested in serving should contact the commission at 978-448-1106 and fill out a committee interest form, which is available in the Board of Selectmen or Conservation Commission offices.
