Police vs. students in fund-raising game

Local police officers and sixth-graders will square off in a basketball game to support the town’s Drug Abuse Resistance Education program Friday at 7 p.m. at the Beatrice H. Wood Elementary School . In addition to the annual game, the fund-raising event will have a raffle featuring meats from Bob’s Market in North Attleborough; tickets are $2 or three for $5, and are available at the police station as well as during Friday’s event . There will also be a raffle for students, with the winner receiving breakfast and a ride to school in a police cruiser. For more information on the evening, call the Police Department at 508-699-1212.
