Weigh in on updates to Town Meeting

The town moderator has drafted updates to Town Meeting operating guidelines and is seeking feedback from residents before finalizing the document. Changes include the clarification of some meeting procedures, the introduction of a procedure to reconsider or rescind line items in the budget, the inclusion of meeting practices that have become common in recent years, and other streamlining of the text. The proposed update is available for review in the town clerk’s office or on the town’s website, www.shirley-ma.gov.
