Registrations will be accepted through Tuesday for the 11th annual Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Road Race to Cure ALS. The event on Saturday also features a 1-mile route for 7- to 10-year-olds, beginning at 10 a.m. The 5K race, which is limited to 1,800 runners and walkers, begins at 8:30 a.m. at Hopkinton High School. All proceeds benefit the Angel Fund, an independent nonprofit benefiting research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
