Meeting for kindergarten parents Thursday

School officials will hold a forum for parents of rising kindergartners on Thursday to discuss the district’s new full-day program, according to an announcement from Superintendent David Lussier. The district has operated kindergarten on a hybrid model of full- and half-days, but will begin the new longer-day schedule this fall after a push for the program by administrators last year and the recent successful $3.3 million Proposition 2½ override to help fund it. Thursday’s forum will take place at 7 p.m. in the Sprague Elementary School cafeteria. For more information, visit www.wellesley.k12.ma.us.
