Resolution targets gas pipeline project

The Board of Selectmen has joined its counterpart in Pepperell in calling a Special Town Meeting to consider a nonbinding resolution opposing the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co.’s plan to expand its regional network with a pipeline that would run through the neighboring towns. Both sessions will convene at 7 p.m. June 30, with Groton’s meeting in the Groton-Dunstable Middle School auditorium, and Pepperell’s at the Nissitissit Middle School.
