Water-conservation rules in effect

In order to ensure that water levels remain sufficient for fire protection and normal consumption, mandatory conservation measures went into effect June 2. Lawn watering is restricted to one day per week, matching the property's trash-collection schedule with no holiday delay. There is no lawn watering allowed between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., when evaporation is at its highest and watering is least effective. Violators are subject to fines of up to $200.
