The Franklin Public Library’s temporary location at 25 Kenwood Circle will close Sept. 16, in preparation for its move back to 118 Main St. The library will remain closed for about a month to enable the move; the renovated building on Main Street is expected to open in mid-October. During this time, all of the library’s holdings, including museum passes, will be unavailable to the public for check-out. Due dates for items checked out in September will be extended to the end of October. Individuals interested in donating materials to the library during this time are asked to instead donate to a library in a nearby town.
