The Dover Board of Health is holding a vaccination clinic aimed at preventing several different diseases Tuesday, Oct. 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Dover Town Hall. Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis vaccines will be offered for all adults, particularly those with exposure to young children or those who are elderly. Two separate pneumococcal vaccines will be available and are recommended for all adults over age 65; and zoster, for shingles, is available for anyone 60 years or older who had or was exposed to the chickenpox. Registration forms are available at the Dover Board of Health in Town Hall, lower level, or Dover Council on Aging in Caryl Community Center. Forms must be returned by Monday, Oct. 23.
