Franklin library offers school vacation week options

The Franklin Public Library is planning a “superhero training camp” among several offerings during school vacation week. Residents are invited to drop by the library each day for new activities, which will include choosing superhero names, designing superhero logos, and holding a superhero party to wrap up the week. Other library activities will include a magic show Friday, Feb. 23, at 10:30 a.m., and a baby-wearing dance party Saturday, Feb. 24, at 9:30 a.m., for which registration is required. The library will be closed Sunday, Feb. 18, and Monday, Feb. 19, in observance of Presidents Day, but will resume regular hours Tuesday, Feb. 20. The library recently returned to its 118 Main St. location following renovations. For more information, including a full schedule of activities, visit the library’s page at www.franklinma.gov, or call 508-520-4941.
