Lexington’s Cary Library to close March 24-29

The Cary Library in Lexington will be closed from March 24 through March 28 for construction. There will also be work prior to March 24, but mostly during the evening hours, when the library is closed. The town said in an announcement that the work is needed to add insulation to prevent sprinkler pipes from freezing, as it did earlier this year. The library hopes to reopen during the afternoon of March 29. Updates will be posted on the library website, its phone line, and social media.
