Two to vie for Medfield School Committee seat

There is only one contested race in Medfield’s March 26 town election. Incumbent Maryanne Sullivan will square off with Leo G. Brehm for a three-year term on the School Committee. A number of incumbents will run unopposed, including Carol Mayer for a three-year term as town clerk, Osler Peterson for a three-year Board Of Selectmen seat, Gregory C. Sullivan for a five-year Planning Board spot, and Thomas V. Sweeney for a three-year Board Of Assessors position, among others. Two new faces on the ballot are Paul D. Hogan, who is running unopposed for a two-year Trust Fund Commissioners spot, and Jean Todesca, who is pursuing one of two two-year seats with the Library Trustees along with incumbent Maura Y. McNicholas. For a full list of candidates, visit the “News Flash” section of the town’s website at town.medfield.net.
