R.I. woman stabbed to death on bus; man arrested

A 46-year-old Providence man was held without bail on a domestic murder charge Wednesday after allegedly stabbing his former wife to death on a bus. Authorities said Terry Chiodo, 46, of Portsmouth, was stabbed around 6:15 a.m., shortly after boarding the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority bus.Police said two men forced Christopher James to the floor after the stabbing and held him for police.
