Romney proposes wide cuts to budget

Social Security, health programs targeted

Mitt Romney unveiled a sweeping plan today for righting the American economy that would include increasing the eligibility age for Social Security and capping Medicaid payments to states. Romney’s plan would also increase the eligibility age for Medicare and allow seniors to choose between the government-sponsored plan and private insurance.
