Rivals hit Mitt Romney on business record

Mitt Romney has long hailed his background as a successful business executive to convince Republican primary voters that he is best suited to lead the country’s economic turnaround. But now an increasing number of Romney’s competitors are trying to this perceived strength into a weakness. He is a word-weasel. No Olympics to save this time, Mitt. You're going to have to buy this election.

i don't like how certain parts of business was conducted when romney was at bain. having said that, if romney is the choice to face off against the divisive disaster currently occupying the oval office, than , he's got my vote with no hesitation. btw, speaking of how business is conducted, when romney was governor, both he and to a large part lt. governor kerry healey stood up to our corrupt and coopted legislature when they tried to gut the long overdue bill that became MELANIES LAW and by this act alone, the guy along with kerry healey have my lifelong respect. at least the guy had the stones to do the right thing for the safety and well being of the states residents. thats a far cry from people like canellos, vennochi, lehigh, cullen and mcgrory who make a mockery of the words journalist and journalism. ma

Mitt used his business acumen to make decisions about the Commonwealth's infrastructure. He said he would apply objective criteria to approving transportation projects, but approved the now-$557 million Greenbush rail project (no federal funds) which ranked, as he later said "25th out of 25" projects based on merit. Why is the MBTA now bankrupt? Too much debt, for one. Where does the debt come from? Most recently, from Mitt Romney's decision. I'm not convinced he would apply best business principles to his decision-making were he elected President. Political calculus rules.
