Debates reinforce some voters’ views

But a note of uncertainty remains strong

Craig Moore likes Mitt Romney. He’s all but committed to voting for him. But to his ear, Romney’s performance in this weekend’s debates descended at times into a rehash of his ads - particularly one that’s been airing on a seemingly endless loop. For Moore and other voters in Ashland, N.H., the final debates before Tuesday’s Republican primary offered a small cruelty: Too little reinforcement of favored candidates and not enough grist for eliminating candidates from contention.
